FAQ
We have provided the following FAQs to help give you an idea
about how our system works. Please contact us if you would like
to talk things through in more detail
Writing the script and recording
the text for your video
You
first have to write a draft script for you video. We will then
take a look at it and make any suggestions as to improvements if
necessary. Once you are happy with your script, we send it to
the studio and the actor so that they can get themselves ready
for the shoot. Once the recording has been done, it is sent to
the processing team for editing and encoding. You can usually
expect your video to be online within 7 days of the recording.
Will I need to re-design my
site, will visitors need a special browser and are there any
security issues?
You
will not have to redesign your site at all. Indeed, the
implementation of this technology could hardly be easier. All
you have to do is insert a small piece of code into the body
section of the page on which you want it to run. Done. Even if
you cannot do it yourself, this is a five-minute job for any
webmaster. The simple instructions are also sent out with the
code. Our technology poses absolutely no security risk and will
run smoothly on about 98% of all computers with broadband
connections.
What message should the video actor deliver and how long
should the video be?
30
second videos seem to work best. It's amazing what a difference
just a simple greeting or teaser can make on important areas of
your site. Of course, the message that the video actor delivers
will differ greatly from site to site. One of the best uses of
this technology is for demonstration purposes. Using a video to
demonstrate a folding bike, for example, is hard to beat.
Should my video speaker express herself using her hands?
Because
you want to connect personally with your visitors, the script
should be conversational. This means that it comes across far
better when hand expressions are used. The more natural the
scripting and movements, the more effective the web videos will
be.
Can the video actors be re-sized,
positioned where I want them and include more than one person?
Yes,
yes, and yes! All you need to do is tell us the size you are
looking for (360 pixels is the most popular). You will be given
an control panel, which you can use to tell the code where your
video person should be positioned.
You can also have videos made with more than
one person . You can also use the
control panel to start another video when the first one finishes.
Will this technology work on every computer?
Almost.
It will play on 98% of all computers with a broadband
connection.
